Meet Lee Won-Bok, the Julius Streicher of Korea

Update 2:   Reading Monnara is translating the entire chapter;  stop by regularly  if your stomach can handle it.

Update:   I’ve just gone though Sonagi’s Flickr page  (see also), and I feel physically ill.  I don’t think I’ve seen anything  this venemous emerging from the civilized  world since the 1930’s, although if you’ve studied the history of those times, it will look more than vaguely  familiar:  the Jews control Hollywood and the media, control all of our foreign policy … and 9/11 is their fault.  I’ll give you just a sample:

Extra points for the caricature of the Native American raping the white woman(!).  If this is what they’re teaching the kiddies in Korea today, it’s no wonder we see atrocities like this — that was  Representative Brad Sherman’s  term  — on the streets of Seoul.

Is this 1930 all over again?  The irony of it all is that this crude mischaracterization of history could very well put Korea on the exit ramp to the very worst of recent history.  You can see in a very real way how Korea’s racial obsession will be the agent of its destruction.  This requires no fanciful historical constructs; the genocidal potential is  already being realized when North Korea espouses the ideology of racial purity and national superiority,  is gassing whole families and killing  babies for being racial impure,  and  runs a massive system of concentration camps.  Is North Korea the “real” Korea, the “pure” Korea, as  many South  Koreans believe?  If so, we should view this as a confession from a heart of darkness.  It magnifies my own sense of urgency to disengage from Korea.  Where reason is an orphan, conflict is inevitable.  And we want to be very careful about being dragged in.

And then again, the wrong kind of disengagement brought us the Middle East as we know it today.  I see no choice here but to expose these lies and the mainstreaming of them, in the hope that someone in Korea will appeal to reason and be heard (already, some of you are laughing).

Original Post:   Robert has taken note of the publication of an anti-Semitic comic book about America that’s a best-seller with the kiddies these days.  Well, in the coming days, I will do my best to fling this excrement into the fan, but here’s a sample, just to let you know that we’re not only speaking of anti-Semitism here.    There seems to be a lot of this going around in that part of the world lately.

One word:  revolting.

I certainly don’t advocate a government ban on this stuff.  God knows, the Korean government’s judgment about which speech should and should not be permitted is questionable enough.  On the other hand, I hope that exposure of this will humiliate Koreans into not buying or selling this crap.

Of course, that was my hope in trying to document the slow extinction of the North Korean people — with plenty of generous financial assistance from South Korean taxpayers.  I’ve been at this for three years now, but I see few signs of shame there yet.\

Anyway, this is something we ought to know about.

Many, many thanks to Sonagi for sending.

  1. Interested commenters can view the entire chapter on Jewish people in America page by page at Flickr:

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/62177820@N00/sets/72157594517612348/

This author’s series was so popular he ended up writing more than a dozen volumes. I own four: Korea, the US (1st of 3 vol.) and both volumes on Japan. I would sum up the content and caricatured images in one word: CRUDE.

I left a post at the Marmots with the same link and cited several pages with especially negative images. The chapter concludes with a big photo of Hangeul signs in Koreatown and the author telling kids not to forget that among America’s various nationalities are more than 2 million Koreans who have never given America any reason to hate them.

  2. And BTW, the page displayed at the top of this entry is actually the last page of the previous chapter, Credit Is Life. It has nothing to do with Jewish people but is, nevertheless, representative of the racial caricatures found throughout the book. You can guess what you’re in for just by looking at the cover – a big photo of Disney and potbellied American in a cowboy hat, I love USA t-shirt, and jeans, Coke in one hand, hamburger in the other.

Several years ago, the Korea Herald ran a weekend feature about Everland’s Parade of Racial Caricatures titled “Korea: the land that PC forgot.”

  3. Can any of you with Korean language skills track down information on publication information on the number of books sold? if this or some other book made a best seller list or some such?

I noted over at the blog where this guy started translating this comic book that I had a book 반미교과사 he might be interested in. Someone mailed it to me in 2003 after stumbling onto my site. I have translated just a tiny bit of it, because my Korean sucks.

But, I’ve always wanted to find out how widespread the book had sold. I tried looking once, but it was a waste of time.

By the way, if anybody with the skills wants to check the book out and perhaps do some English translation of exerts for it, just email me and I’ll mail it to you – because I’ll never get to where I can use it. usinkorea@hotmail.com

  4. May I suggest that, if it’s not too much trouble, you provide a translation?

A frame-by-frame translation, supplemented with figures on the print runs / circulation of these documents, could make these materials useful in the U.S. for promoting a reassessment of the alliance.

I think I get the idea from the pictures; but I am reluctant to make a firm judgment of something I can’t read. Others would probably feel the same reluctance. Provided with a translation, they would be more likely to make the judgment — and act on it.

  5. Joshua,

I’ve been checking up on US copyright fair use guidelines and they are highly restrictive regarding children’s texts, limiting to two pages, so I’ve deleted all but two pages on Flickr. Little by little, I will upload individual pictures with commentary to keep within guidelines. When I left Korea five years ago, I bought a large collection of Korean language books back as I knew I would not return for awhile. This book was sitting in storage; I had not had a chance to read it yet.

As for sales figures, I will check at Kyobo’s online bookstore and come back with a sales count. This book is not obscure. It is part of a very popular series.

  6. My reading of the fair use doctrine is different. It depends on a series of factors, such as the amount of content used, and the extent to which your criticism relates to a matter of public concern that implicates a First Amendment interest.

Most children’s books — and this probably doesn’t qualify — don’t contain this kind of content. This is not the same as reprinting a Mickey Mouse cartoon. That said, you need to do what you feel is safest for you.

    Disclaimer: not legal advice.

I may put up more later, but I will leave this stuff up here.

  7. Joshua,

I wanted to let you know that between your blog and the Marmot’s, the Flickr page has gotten almost 400 hits in less than 24 hours. I hope that some of those viewers are Korean and that they see Lee’s book and others like it as polluting kids’ minds. Imagine replacing the Star of David on the pitchfork, wall, giant leg, bag of money, shield, chef’s hat, etc. with a red and blue taeguk and then putting that book into the hands of a North American child.

  8. Sonagi,

Your last line turned the situation around in a way that most Koreans don’t seem capable of grasping.

  9. The translations that have been added to Sonagi’s Flickr page make these images extremely effective (as evidence of disturbing and repulsive attitudes in the ROK) and I hope they will receive wide circulation.

  10. I agree with you 100% that the US media is a mouth piece for Jews. They slaughter, curse, and attack other races and then cry like a baby when others accuse the Jews of being racist or biased.

The Jews Jews know how to manipulate and use the US media to their advantage.

Why do you think the Jews can use cluster bombs, when they agreed that they can not be used against civilians.

Haha. the Jews are bombing innocent civilians with US bombs, and we tolerate it.

Tell me that isn’t manipulated of the Jewish/US media.

  11. Americans don’t care about zionism, nor care about spreading the “American” worldview of zionist terror, world war, and genocide.

Korean Americans choosing to meet with Wiesenthal center officials to commense in a big group-whine, will not make them less foreign in the eyes of Americans. You inncorrectly assume that America is the place where you whine about this that and the other is “nazis” or “hitler”; that’s the jew talking. We are about sick of the jew and this victimology jew shtick, and his Jewwar in the middle east, and our first Jewish president warmonger in chief Jewrge W Bush.

Meeting with the Wiesenthal “eternally prosecuted” (with 20 billion in the bank) will do nothing but tie Koreans to support for an unpopular zionist war for jews and their carpetbags.

Rhie Won Bok, as a foreigner from a distant land that even Korean Americans forgot makes statements that cut through our superstitions, he identifies our cohession not as “strength in diversity” or any such bullshit, but a system of credit/money. He makes obeservations on our labor system that a rich “American” jew celebrating diversity and who never worked an honest day in his life, wouldn’t have an oppertunity to notice.

  12. Either “Ziopedia” is your site or it isn’t.  If it isn’t, you’re a troll (hence the false proxy server) and you’re banned.  If it is, I have to say that your Web site is just about the most delusional and unmedicated puddle of vomit I’ve stepped in anywhere on the Internet.  What, may I ask, is your connection with Ziopedia and/or Andrew Winkler?  What comment do you have on the allegation that “Ziopedia” published the assailant’s confession to the recent attack on Elie Wiesel?

Interesting, also that extreme-left Portland Indymedia hosts content from and links to your hate site.  On the other hand, the assailant is a flaming neo-Nazi.  It’s getting harder than ever to tell far left from far right.  They even take the same color pills.
