Amb. King: “Do not go to North Korea.”

“Do not go to North Korea. It is a tough place and Americans find themselves getting into trouble there,” he said, apparently referring to three U.S. citizens who have been detained in the communist nation for as long as nearly two years. [Yonhap]

That’s much better, although King’s case should have a stronger moral component.

  1. Nice Fail to mention that Fowle thought it would be a great idea to leave a bible behind and the other two detainees are true ass clowns. The Ambassador also Fails to mention that 100’s of Americans travel there each year without incident. If you want to go you need to follow the rules….it ain’t Merica.

Until the USG implements a Cuba type travel ban to the DPRK, US citizens will continue to travel to the DPRK and make a mockery of the propaganda put out by the USG.

I am not sure who’s propaganda is better…DPRK or USA!

  2. Propaganda schmopaganda. North Korea says it has religious freedom, so that couldn’t possibly be the reason he was arrested and held for five months!
