Interesting, but I’m still not convinced. I don’t claim to know the truth; I can only interpret the evidence I have.
Update: Joe Bermudez, whom I would actually characterize as an expert in the field (unlike myself) publishes detailed analysis of the new imagery, and notices pretty much the same things I’d observed here.

Very fascinating. Still not proven, but an interpretation from a former guard like Ahn Myong-Chol does seem to provide at least a little bit of evidence to the claim.
Hopefully more satellite imagery, especially along the fence line where the guard posts are stationed, becomes available.
Thank you for your dedication; I always knew North Korea was awful (especially so after reading Nothing to Envy), but it was this site that really opened my eyes to the complete extent.
