If you’re reading this from China, don’t miss the (hopefully) big pro-democracy demo in Hong Kong on July 1st. Last year, half a million people turned out and won a reprieve for their freedom. This year, Beijing is trying very hard to keep mainlanders from showing up and joining in. They sound pretty desperate.
