Whoa! Watch Where You Point That Thing!
The U.S. military has captured the rest of the video Abu Musab Zarkawi recently released — the parts Zarkawi didn’t want shown on TV. I dedicate this post to James, who actually knows how to operate firearms. Zarkawi, incidentally, seems to be having a rough time lately, judging by the reports and the quality of his followers’ military skills.
Like a jihadi “Reno 9-11.”

Well, it helps to be a gun nut sometimes. Clearly, this guy isn’t.
Zarkawi doesn’t have to know how to fire a weapon. The real danger he poses lies in his ability to inspire, coordinate, and obtain funding for terrorist operations. I think that all readers here will agree that he had proven, unfortunately, quite capable in that arena. We can snicker over his inability to handle a SAW once we have had the opportunity to piss on his burning corpse.

By the way, he might not be that talented at “inspiring and coordinating” — there are signs that he may be running out of suicide attack volunteers.
Lirelou, don’t you suppose that by looking like an ass, Zarkawi’s ability to inspire has been diminished somewhat? In that sense, the capture of that tape might have been quite significant to how a martial culture views him.

kopskillers, I wonder how it reflects on our inability to capture him or stem the tide of terrorist attacks in Iraq?On CNN they were making excuses for his inability to use the weapon. The guy said it was understandable that he would have problems with the weapon because it was American made. Who’s side are these guys on?
Sounds like whoever said that on CNN knows as much about weapons as Zarkawi!
I’m not sure why we’re shocked. The only kind of “combat” Zarkawi knows is the kind where the stupid are instrumentalities for murdering the defenseless.
Joshua, I do not believe his standing will be in anyway diminished among a public that believes that Osama Bin Laden is innocent, and that the WTC was a Zionist plot. In short, among those idiot followers still looking for a chance to die by killing for “peace”, if that is what Islam really means.
